On the special occasion of International Women’s Day 2025, Jan Vikash Kranti (JVK) and NABARD Bhojpur jointly organized an awareness seminar at Nayka Tola, Jagdishpur. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from women and key dignitaries, including Block Head Smt. Savita Devi, Principal Kumari Sneha Singh, NABARD Officer Shri Ranjit Kumar Sinha, and JVK’s General Secretary Dr. Hemraj Singh.

The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of women’s empowerment, respect for their rights, and the need for fostering gender equality. The theme for International Women’s Day 2025, “Accelerate Action,” was central to the discussions and activities throughout the event.

Inspiring Stories and Shared Experiences

One of the most heartfelt moments of the program was when several women took the stage to share their personal stories. Their experiences reflected their resilience and the desire to move toward self-reliance. These narratives not only inspired others but also emphasized the importance of collective efforts in empowering women.

Empowerment Through Awareness

In her address, Block Head Smt. Savita Devi encouraged the audience to take active steps toward achieving their goals, emphasizing the significance of education and financial independence. Principal Kumari Sneha Singh reiterated the value of gender equality in creating a better society. Shri Ranjit Kumar Sinha from NABARD shed light on various government schemes and support systems available for women entrepreneurs.

Dr. Hemraj Singh, General Secretary of JVK, delivered a powerful message underscoring the organization’s commitment to empowering women. He stated, “At JVK, we believe that respect, recognition of achievements, and equal opportunities for women are the foundations for building a prosperous society. Our efforts are dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering women to lead independent lives.”

Celebrating Achievements and Looking Ahead

The seminar also included interactive sessions, where women were encouraged to voice their concerns and ideas for growth. These discussions were not just about acknowledging challenges but also finding ways to overcome them collectively.

JVK remains steadfast in its mission to uplift women and create opportunities that enable them to thrive. By working together with NABARD and other organizations, JVK aims to foster a society where gender equality is not just an ideal but a lived reality.

A Step Toward Change

International Women’s Day serves as a reminder that the journey toward gender equality requires persistent efforts and accelerated actions. Programs like this seminar are stepping stones that inspire women to dream bigger and achieve more. Together, we can build a future where every woman has the opportunity to reach her full potential.
