Sewing Artisans
in Dhandiha village, Bhojpur, with NABARD's sponsorship. Participants received training in modern sewing design, leading to increased income generation. This project is now successfully completed.
Artisans
trained each in Sikki Art and Bhojpuri Painting in Bihar’s Bhojpur district. This initiative revived these traditional crafts and connected artisans to modern markets, where they now successfully sell their products and earn a good income. The project is now completed.
Participants
in Daulatpur village to modernize their embroidery skills. The project successfully enhanced design techniques and is now completed.
Women
in Bhojpur to create and market decorative items from waste materials. The 15-day program focused on product creation and sales, with items now successfully sold in local markets and fairs. The project is now completed.
Empowering Minds
wood artisans, including 40 Divyangs, under the guidance of award-winning artisan Subodh Kumar. Many artisans now work with Bhojpuri Hunar Haat, while others have started their own businesses.
Women
received training in financial literacy, skills development, entrepreneurship, and reproductive and child health. This comprehensive program aimed at overall development, equipping women with essential knowledge and skills for personal and economic empowerment.
Students
enhancing their employability across various sectors. Targeting youth aged 15-28, the program provided practical skills and knowledge for better job opportunities, with higher age limits for SC/ST, OBC, and disabled individuals.

Organizational Structure
Since its creation in 2009, Jan Vikash Kranti has been a steadfast advocate for community empowerment and sustainable development across Bihar. In 2014, we restructured our operations to enhance efficiency and impact, adapting our approach to better meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
We actively work in areas such as education, healthcare, livelihood/vocational training, women empowerment, support for the specially-abled, and environmental protection through tree planting. Looking ahead, we are planning to expand our initiatives by introducing an old age home within the next 4-5 months. Our commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous learning ensures that our interventions remain relevant, effective, and impactful as we continue to grow and extend our reach to other states.
